If you have made it this far, you must either be:
- my mom (Hi mom!)
- a caring (or concerned!) friend
- a bored internet user
Either way, I am delighted you are here. For your amusement, I humbly offer up some Marjan-Fun-Facts meant to (vaguely) illuminate just who I am:
- I was born somewhere between Cairo and Kabul (hint: it's near Mt. Damavand).
- I had my first American birthday in 1979 at a McDonalds on Springfield Blvd. in Bayside, Queens. By all accounts, it was a blast!
- At age 11, I unknowingly ate rabbit in my middle-school cafeteria in Creteil, France.
- Most recently, I lived in a very blue city in a very red state (hint: just a stone's throw from the Blue Ridge Mountains).
- I just moved to London, England and I now attend Goldsmiths College, where I'm working towards an MA in Visual Anthropology.
As I slowly discover the world of blogging and public journaling on the WWW, I hope your time in my virtual world proves entertaining. Drop me a line and let me know...
Happy Reading!
