Hotta in Town

Lots of things have been going on in the past week or so... and they will all get their time in the sun.

For now, let it suffice to say that I had a paper due today and I worked on it for 2 days straight.

The paper has been handed in (YAY!) and now I can play tourist with a very special visiting guest... my cousin Anahita!!

Anahita, or Hotta, as I have been affectionately calling her since I was 2, is 6 years older than me and lives in NYC. She grew up in Paris, works on top-secret perfume projects for a living (I'm not kidding) and is an amazing artist (both drawing and multi-media). I'll have to ask her to do some of her signature "little women" sketches while she's here (it'll make more sense once you see them), but until then, here are pictures of some mixed media pieces she has recently worked on.

Is there any way to make these images bigger? They look amazing ... but are soooo small on my computer.

Great to see you on here! You're right about the image size, unfortunately the original images were really small, too. I'll see if I can get Hotta to take some bigger ones and send them to me...
