I have basically been living in the new Editing Suite since Saturday morning, and have been learning Final Cut Pro in a do-or-die fashion (there are reasons for this behavior, but I'll get into that another time; basically lots of people and not lots of equipment). I literally arrived in the room at 8:57 am today and didn't leave until 5 minutes ago (8:08 pm). [Phew]
But, it has been an amazing lesson in perseverance and discipline, and I am almost done with my first 5-minute film on Dave the Ferry-Skipper... but that's another story for another time.
Time to take the bus home and eat some dinner! Also, John has been dealing with a case of the stomach yuckies (aka food poisoning), so I need to go tend to the patient. Although, truth be told, he was up at the crack of dawn with me and even made me my lunch sandwich today... [sigh]. What a guy.
