Just wanted to apologize for the lack of news and say that all is well in London. I have a major paper due this Monday and have been consumed with work...

However, this has been a very eventful week, as we had a special international guest appearance by "Iron Tim" from Richmond, VA!! There will be more on this in the days to come (with plenty of fun photos!) but for now, let us say that we miss him already and we were VERY glad to have him here with us!

And, since this week's theme is academia and all-things-library-related, here are some photos from a pilgrimage John and I made to the main University of London library, Senate House, as well as the world-renowned British Library. Both are quite impressive...

Moving on to the British Library... and its massive collections and new home in Kings Cross. The size of its courtyard is a sign of what's to come. Old and new co-exist rather peacefully... Courtyard sculpture.
