Portrait of the Visual Anthropology Student as a Free Woman

Topic: London; Academia (69 words, 6 images, 4 comments)

Well, I'm about 36 hours away from real academic freedom but have decided to take a quick study break and shoot some self-portraits and images of my workspace at home. The end-of-the-semester coursework has piled up but I am confident that I will make it through this last hurdle... After this, it's just one film and one more 5,000 word essay that separate me from my MA in Visual Anthropology! Woo-hoo!

Where the madness happens! I love having all of this work left to do! I mean it! Don't you trust me?! Yes, I will be HAPPIER when this is all done!
Ah, but the beach house views are inspiring... And even the sun has come out to play.

Mar! Congrats on being so close to the end of your semester!!! And what an amazing couple of months you have had! I am totally blown away by you and all that you've done (which, I must say, is not unusual ... you have the knack to amaze!). Sending all my love to you and John ...
