Hello from Tehran

Ok, this is a quick post, as I am on borrowed time (and a borrowed computer) and on my way to a coffee house and then dinner at Monsoon, Tehran's best sushi joint. :)

There are far less internet cafes than I expected and lots more smog than I recalled. The fashions are outrageous and sexy! Lots of photos taken to share with you all! Next time...

I leave for Kerman tomorrow (by plane, not in a car, as previously thought) and will be in the mountains until this coming Sunday!!! Absolutely cannot wait. Many photos to come, surely. No internet updates until I come back...

Maman is great and her cooking is better than I remembered.
